Les Petits Maroo hair clips are created from genuine customized keyboard keycaps, then assembled by hand by Maroo in her workshop in Ardèche. They become original, graphic, sometimes absurd hair accessories that are often more talkative than their owner.
Each model is produced in a very limited series, and some combinations are almost unique.
They never filled out an Excel spreadsheet. We consider their career change a success.

A hair clip does not behave in exactly the same way on all hair types – hair rarely reads the specifications.
Depending on the model, its length, and the amount of hair held by the clip, a women's hair clip can hold a strand, structure a half-updo, or simply decorate a hairstyle.

🌱 What are the barrettes made of?
The main decorative element of Les Petits Maroo hair clips is made from a composite material, particularly from custom-made real keyboard keys.
Each model is transformed and then hand-assembled in Ardèche.
As the hair clips are handcrafted and produced in small quantities, slight variations may appear from one piece to another.
Industrial production would probably have solved this problem. Fortunately, that wasn't the plan.
🧼 How to care for a hair clip?
An original hair clip for women requires about as much maintenance as an autonomous colleague: very little, as long as you don't subject it to just anything.
Avoid baths, prolonged humidity, and styling products sprayed directly onto the keys.
A soft, dry cloth is usually enough to clean the embellishment. When you're not wearing your hair clip, keep it in a dry place to protect the mechanism and decorative elements.
