Les Petits Maroo friendship necklaces are pieces of jewelry designed to be shared between two, three, or four people, depending on the model.
Each person wears their own necklace and pendant: some pieces fit together to form a heart, a rainbow, or a complete puzzle, while others simply complement one another through their motif.
The principle remains the same: everyone leaves with a little piece of the story. 💗
They are carefully prepared in Les Petits Maroo’s workshop in Ardèche.
We could have invented a secret password. That would have been far less practical to wear around your neck.
🌈 Can we choose a different cord color for each necklace?
Yes. On models offering the choice of cord color, each necklace in the set can have its own color.
For a friendship necklace for 2, you can therefore choose two different colors; for a model for 3 or 4, each pendant can have its own cord.
The selected colors are saved with the order so that each pendant gets the right cord during preparation. 🌈
Because having to democratically decide on a single color for four people was clearly looking for trouble.
📏 How long are the friendship necklaces?
The exact length of the cord for each friendship necklace is indicated on the product page when it varies by model.
The goal is for each pendant to be worn comfortably around the neck, without being too tight.
🧒 From what age can you wear a friendship necklace?
Les Petits Maroo friendship necklaces are not intended for children under 3 years old.
For young children, a necklace should always be worn under the responsibility and supervision of an adult. It should be removed for sleeping, playing sports, unsupervised play, or during any activity where it could get caught.
Since every child is different, parents are best placed to determine if their child is independent enough to wear a necklace safely.

Composition varies by model. 🌱
Friendship necklace pendants can have different finishes, colors, and decorative elements: gold or silver metal, enamel, rhinestones, or other details depending on the design.
The cord, pendant, clasps, and other elements used are therefore specified in the information specific to each product, rather than generalizing one material to the entire collection.
Each necklace is carefully prepared in small batches in the Petits Maroo workshop.

For a friendship necklace with multiple pendants, the entire set corresponding to the ordered product is prepared in the same order.
And sometimes, a few little things also appear in the package.

🧼 How to care for a friendship necklace?
To keep your pendants and their cords in good condition, avoid prolonged contact with water, swimming pools, baths, perfume, and cosmetics.
A soft, dry cloth is usually sufficient for gently cleaning the pendant.
When not wearing the necklace, keep it dry and avoid leaving it tangled at the bottom of a bag.
The different halves can come together to form a heart.
They don't need to live together twenty-four hours a day. 😌
